Surya-The Icon

The mighty Sun God, the giver of life and greatest source of energy on earth is personified through texts and calligraphic compositions for this exhibition. The core inspiration for this series were the genuine, benevolent people that I came across in my life. To me they were no less than the ‘Surya’ (Sun) who brightened my life with their sound counsel, poise, passion, attitude, acumen and talent. It was a tribute to those who have motivated me to become the best version of myself.
