My work in Indian scripts especially Devanagari calligraphy has drawn inspiration from Indian Scriptures, Literature and Indian Philosophy. Syllables and sounds like ‘OM’, ‘Shree’ not only have deep metaphysical meaning but the letterforms have a great aesthetic quotient. Various paintings and compositions bring out the essence / significance or ‘Bhav’ of Sanskrit shlokas, hymns and poetry by Saints beautifully.
