Achyut Palav School of Calligraphy is a venture which takes the mission started by Achyut Palav to propagate the art of calligraphy, a step further. The school is built on the foundation of our rich culture & vast heritage of scripts. The school will have courses in basic calligraphy for Devnagri scripts (Hindi & Marathi) & Roman (English) scripts. There will be regular batches which will be conducted in sessions of 2 hours each on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays.
On weekends we will be conducting sessions dedicated to Devnagri & Roman for those who cannot accommodate batches in the week. Similarly weekends will also be for other Indian scripts like Modi, Urdu & foreign language like Japanese. Special session & workshops like manuscript studies & creativity building will be conducted all year round. The school is also equipped with a calligraphy shop & a library. |

Achyut Palav returns from a very successful tour of UK & Germany
with a uniquely conclude exhibition - Calliscrolls
Achyut Palav recently concluded the three weeks tour of UK & Germany. He was invited by Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan in London for an Exhibition & Demo. The event received tremendous response & was visited by not only Indians there but art patrons from various other nations such as France, China & other countries in Europe.
Appreciated for his unique style, Achyut Palav was successful in giving a beautiful insight into the world of Indian Calligraphy. The other unique aspect that received accolades was the medium that the art was presented on- Scrolls / Indian Khalita.
Apart from the exhibition, Mr. Palav was also invited for a demo at the famed Dalton Maag Ltd. where there was a healthy interaction on ideas & knowledge of Fonts & scripts. In Germany too, Palav gave demos & interacted with noted calligraphers.
This tour brought the Indian calligraphy into a new limelight & gave it an international recognition.
